Opensource Digital Video Asset Management for Doc production?
on Jan 1, 2018 at 11:32:20 am

Hello there,

i hope this is the right board for my question: I am looking for pointers / best practices etc. for using a Digital Video Asset management Software (DAM) in the workflow of the production of an indie doc. I work as an editor in broadcast TV as well and there, DAM solutions are used for a long time. Now i wonder if there is something similar, preferrably open source, which makes asset management for docs easier than just using the NLE's features itself. Anyone got experience with projects that used DAM software?

cheers,
e.

If you subscribe to Adobe Creative Cloud you should give Adobe Bridge a look. I don't have any recommendations/experience with any open source solutions. Are you on a Mac or PC?
