Pastel / Washed Out Film Look

Pastel / Washed Out Film Look

Good evening all.

Just a query to see if anyone has a method of achieving a pastel, almost washed out look which is very 'in' at the moment.

For example:

You can do great things by stacking muktiple tracks, pushign one aspect ro another of them, then using blend modes and opacity level changes. The simplest most common one perhaps is to blend a track with some gaussian blur into a clean track for a diffusion effect.

Just simple color correction/creativity. The top one just has reduced contrast. The bottom went the blue tone look by reducing reds.
