6 million frames per second

O.K., so I don't currently see a use for this kind of technology for actual broadcast video work - but I still think it's interesting to have a capability of capturing 6 million frames per second.

Advances in other fields eventually trickle out to other areas... so I figured I'd share.

When I saw this I got the impression the pics it provides look more like electron microscopy than anything optical. WOuld love to see a link to actual output somewhere.

I'm also remembering some ridiculously high number of frames per second for NASA recording launches. I thought I remembered 40,000 fps and figured that was impossible...before I remembered that the Phantom 65 shoots over 34,000 fps.

So, not 6 million fps, but still.....a LOT.
