This is a pretty good video of an improv comedy group performing part of the opening sequence to Star Wars, on a New York subway car! This would have been great/hilarious to see in person.

pretty good timing having Vader at the next platform - would like to see it continue.

Here's a slightly funny one I just found:

I wonder how many face book posts there where about the coolest train ride ever the day that happened?

Star Wars: Retold (by someone who hasn't seen it)

Pretty much what the subject line says. Not exactly on topic, but not exactly NOT on topic.

Guy hears his fried say she doesn't need to watch the original trilogy because she knows what happens. He asks her to tell him, then adds some animation in FCP. A complete gas.

This treatment needs to be applied to a whole raft of movies...

I'd like to see someone who has actually seen Mulholland Drive attempt to explain Mulholland Drive.

Also on Funny or Die there is something called Drunk History (I think that's what it's called), where they just tape a person who is really plastered while they struggle to explain historical events or describe the lives of historical figures like Tesla and Lincoln, then comedians act out the stories as they are being told. It's very similar to this in style and hilariousness. If only they could find a drunk person who has never seen Star Wars!

Tesla Drunk History is very funny.

Watching the girl's version of retelling Star Wars, it reminds me of what popular books and plays look like after they are adapted by the Hollywood development process for movies.
