I had my girls watch Pee-wee's Big Adventure for the first time. I've love introducing them to the films I grew up with like The Goonies. One of my daughter's review was, "Dad, that was weird." Oh well. I guess they can't like everything I liked.

Now, technically, was she wrong?

Ha ha. You are right. It really is a weird movie but one I really enjoyed.

I think you owe it to them to screen "UHF" with Weird Al Yankovick and point out what daddy's job is really like. :-)

Ha ha. I love UHF. If you have the desire you have to listen to Weird Al's commentary on the DVD. It is the funniest commentary I have ever heard. That Spatula City sign was really put up on a billboard. No one rented the billboard space after they filmed the scene so the Spatula City add stayed up for months. I guess people called the billboard company and complained when the couldn't find Spatula City at the next exit. :-)

What a show it was, thanks for bringing back the good old memories. This generation may not understand it the comedies of that era, my favorite was Perfect Strangers.
