She really did. I loved the Mary Tyler Moore Show. My favorite episode is when Mary invites Lou ( Here Boss at a new room) to be a guest speaker in front of her journalism class. Lou talks about how you can't learn anything from books and how they are a waste of time. He then looks down to see the book for the class and it has the instructor face on it. Lou then picks it up and say that you can't learn anything from books except for this one.

I worked in a newsroom for awhile and found this show to be close to my heart.

It was one of the early shows that depicted a burnt-out and sarcastic script writer on a regular basis, and the trials and tribulations Murray would face. As well as the shame when Ted would murder his carefully-written prose.

A random Murrray episode
