One ticket for Mad Max: Fury Road, please...!

Of all the hyped up sequel/remake/reboot trailers for movies coming out next year, it is of my opinion that *this* one is the new frontrunner of awesomeness. Not saying the movie is going to be the best... But the trailer is ahead of the game. GIMME THIS MOVIE, I WANT IT.

Saw this trailer ahead of Interstellar - looks awesome. Assuming they did not put every action sequence in the trailer, that is.

This is a franchise that, surprisingly, has not been rebooted. It seems like after the success of the 80's movies there would have been a version with Sam Worthington or Heath Ledger at some point.

But yeah, this looks like a sure way to make me part with $8.50.

2015 looks to be a banner year for movies:

Mad Max, Star Wars, Batman v Superman, Taken 3, Paddington (watch the teaser, pretty funny), Jupiter Ascending, Kingsman Secret Service (looks awesome), Chappie and Ex Machina - two films about robots and what it means to be human, The Avengers, Tomorrowland, Entourage, Jurassic World, Ted 2, Terminator 5, Ant Man, Vacation (Chevy Chase and his grandkids). Oddly Missioon Impossible V is going up against Star Wars in December.

Lots more that are destined for RedBox rentals for sure.

Wow, when you put them all out there like that, Mike, it makes it seem like a pretty crowded slate! I didn't even think of a few of them.

Here, I'll just jam in my prediction opinion about all of them right now (including a bunch that I looked up that you forgot to mention (in italics!)

Will probably live up to expectations:

Mad Max
Kingsman Secret Service
Chappie
Avengers 2
Inside Out (Pixar's next project, the newest trailer was funny)
Crimson Peak (Guillermo del Toro's new haunted house movie)
The Good Dinosaur (two Pixar movies in one year, and one is about DINOSAURS?! yes please!)

Will probably slightly not live up to expectations:

Star Wars
Jupiter Ascending
Ex Machina
Tomorrowland
Ant Man
Mission Impossible V
Pitch Perfect 2
Minions

Will probably disappoint greatly from what I wished it was:

Jurassic World
Ted 2
Terminator 5
Furious 7 (they can't top the crazy from last time, can they?)
The Fantastic Four
The Jungle Book
The last Hunger Games movie

Will probably be a trainwreck:

Batman vs Superman
Entourage
Vacation
Did you know that they're rebooting Poltergeist next year?
AND Point Break?

Have no idea, because I doubt I'm seeing it:

Taken 3
Paddington (*well, I'd watch it on HBO for free)
Another Paranormal Activity movie
Another Divergent movie
Cinderella
Paul Blart Mall Cop 2
Magic Mike XXL
The Peanuts Movie

Oh my god, look how awful January and February of 2015 are looking:

Mortdecai
The Wedding Ringer
The Boy Next Door
Fifty Shades of Grey
Hot Tub Time Machine 2
Blackhat (it looks boring)
