I know we discussed actors turning down roles a while back, I guess Mark Wahlberg said that he turned down the opportunity to play Kirk's Father in Star Trek because the script didn't make sense.

I'm with the Funky One on that.

But Connery was an idiot for not playing Gandalf and doing "Extraordinary Gent" instead.

That was my Oscars outfit this year. Unfortunately for you all, I stayed home.

Zardoz is an interesting movie, and not just for the nudity. I wouldn't call it a great success but neither would I label it a failure.

I read an interesting article the other day about the Pulp Fiction that could have been. Can you imagine Daniel Day Lewis as Vincent Vega, Matt Dillon as Butch, Meg Ryan as Mia, and Paul Calderdon as Jules?

Well, actually, DDL probably would have been great as Vincent Vega... But all four characters are not only signature roles for the four actors involved, but also just downright iconic performances as well, from a film history standpoint.
