Romanza is a documentary about the California period of Frank Lloyd Wright's work, covering about 25 of his Romanza and Usonian homes and commercial buildings, plus some biographical stuff. Saw it in Springfield last Sunday as the start of a short cross-country tour. I didn't care for the sound track but the content is well worth taking in if you have any casual interest in architecture at all.
As a gimmick to promote the film, it's travellign with a erproduction of a dog house Wright designed for the son of one of his customers, made to blend with the Wright house. Kind of a neat story-within-a-story.
BTW, Happy Birthday Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe, who made such an impact on Chicago's architecture.
