Am I alone in thinking that this movie should perhaps not exist...?

Entertainment Weekly, which posted the picture (in case the watermark didn’t make it obvious) also has an interview with Arterton, in which she describes the film as having a “[Quentin] Tarantino feel” — comedic, but also “very, very dark, and bloodthirsty.” The actress also expounds on the differences between Gretel, who’s “feminine” and “much more in tune with her spiritual side,” and her brother Hansel, whom Arterton describes as “a typical action hero, cheeky, funny, a womanizer,” as well as the complicated relationship between the two.

Whenever anyone says "Quentin Tarantino feel" I always shutter. Has anyone ever attempted to make a "Tarantino feel" type movie and ever been remotely close to an actual Tarantino movie? (aside from ones QT wrote himself, like True Romance)

When they say a "Tarantino Feel" (shorthand) this is what they mean:

Checklist:

"In Media Res" cold opening ___

Grandiose artistic title sequence (optional) ________

Non-linear narrative with plot holes______

Counterpointing pop cultural trivia monologues with bursts of ultra-violence ____

Gratuitous nudity (just a hint) ______

Pop catalog soundtrack _________

Poorly-disguised Hitchcockian cameo ________

Stunt casting of former high-dollar stars, now in decline, in roles they'd never have done prior ________

Lots of swear words ________

Random homage to retired genre' tropes, "rebooted" _______

Did I miss any?

[Mark Suszko] "Gratuitous nudity (just a hint) ______"

Has there ever been any explicit/gratuitous nudity in a Tarantino film...? I'm trying to think of one and I'm struggling to come up with something. He's more of a fetishist, so I think that checkbox should go more like this:

Numerous, lingering shots of women's feet _______
