I recently saw Moneyball at my local theater, who had just upgraded it's projectors to all digital, including two brand new 4K Christie projectors. Moneyball was shot well, which helps, but I certainly noticed a difference between the old 2K projectors and this nice new 4K projector with a 4K print. The picture was brighter, color seemed richer and much better contrast. I look forward to seeing a 3D print there to see if I might quit complaining about 3D looking dark with the glasses on.
So this makes me wonder if any of you have had similar experiences. Having seen movies in film vs. 2k vs. 4k and what your thoughts and opinions are and perhaps what you hope for next.
