Even with that boy I can't take seriously, this is good sarcastic parody fun. (The video is having embed problems so I'll just post the link, it's worth the journey to Funny or Die though)

Agreed. Could have used less Twilight kid, but the jokes and other cameos were pretty good.

And whenever I hear news of Taylor Lautner, I feel obliged to post the image that compares him to a llama:

That's pretty funny - who paid for this? Funny or Die can't afford Kevin Costner.
I thought it was going to be a parody cut together from other materials.

Apparently because all of the caliber at Funny or Die, they can get big stars to do these things for free, and for an afternoon of fun and the immortality of comedy on the web I guess. They did have some budget though because, since they shot it in California and didn't have a cornfield it was added in post (according to a blog on Cnet). Also Kevin Costner was willing to do it but wouldn't make the trip to the shoot, so FoD had to send a camera crew with a green screen to his home in Colorado to shoot his "cameo". Typical...

Wow a CGI cornfield. That's impressive, and absurd at the same time.
I guess I have not watched much NFL lately because I don't recognize any of those players!

I often get confused for the football player Steve Smith because of my big muscles.

[Stephen Smith] "I often get confused for the football player Steve Smith because of my big muscles."

I have that problem too, although I am confused with either Screech or Waldo.

Oh well, we can't choose our doppelgangers.
