Kill Bill Influences

I saw this over at Film Drunk, it's another video from that "Everything is a Remix" series, this one doing a neat job of showing side-by-side and back-to-back shots of the direct influences on Tarantino's Kill Bill.

I like at the end when it just starts showing Tarantino's own earlier films as an influence on his later ones. They could have went even deeper and shown the influence on Kill Bill from his early movies, then show the early movie's influences, and what influenced that, and so on. They could have had Inception levels of layering in this video!

An influence in an influence in an influence.

*Also, as expected from a video about Kill Bill, there is some violence and blood and such, if that bothers you.

Tarantino's ouvre' is like a Dennis Miller stand-up rant: so self-referential it eventually divides by zero.
