That was a really cool video, I liked when they broke it down and showed the audio waveforms for the different layers of the cafe explosion. That stuff is always neat to me.
And 98% production audio for the dialogue...??? That sounds crazy to me, that's a very rare occurrence, isn't it? I always assumed a huge chunk of most films have dialogue redone with ADR. Or is Nolan just some mad genius?
Nolan, despite the visual effects of his movies, likes keeping things real. Stunts, effects and audio recorded on set when possible. And how many other filmmakers are shooting with IMAX?
I almost hope that he stops making Batman movies and shows us what else he can do. Only problem with that idea is they will hire the 2010 version of Joel Schumaker to make more Batman movies.
