XMPilot App released in app store for iPad and iphone

The XMPilot App has been released in the app store for iPad and iPhone. It is a free app and lets you add/change meta data during filming when used with a 500, 700 or F800 camera with the WiFi adapter.

I have seen a demo of the app and it looks very powerful and I can't wait to use it on most of my shoots!

What is the wi-fi adapter? Part number? Has anyone used it? I'm very interested...

The WiFi adapter is CBKWA01. I have one and have used it with the XDcam Browser V2 software.

The demo I saw of the XMPilot system was very impressive.

Got XMPilot App working today with Wi-Fi transmitter CBK-WA01 on my F800. Live view works great. Outside in direct line-of-sight got about 60 meters before signal loss. XMPilot works on iphone and ipad. Am finding the App seems to work but would really like to get an instruction how-to-use manual for the app if one exits. Anyone aware of a manual that explains exactly how to work the app? Thanks.

I have not seen a manual, but found I can get my way around the app pretty easily, though I would like to see the manual to find out what I don't know.

The ability to custom clip name is a great feature that gives this application its potential power. It's the ease with which you can use the ipad/phone to edit, add, change those names, along with all of the additional logging features. Implications for workflow have the potential to be significant.
