Does anybody know the correct settings for an Denecke SB-T timecode generator in combination with a Sony PDW-700 XDcam HD camera?
the gen lock settings keep meshing up the camera sync

Hey there! I OWN three SB-T boxes with my F800s! What frame rate and frequency selection are you trying to do? (my guess is this is where you're getting jammed up!) I typically shoot EVERYTHING in 24p/1080.

Here's what I can tell you:

24p: Dial switch to 4, dip switches to 01
Even though the F800 is a PROGRESSIVE frame, it still needs to be set to segmented... it's on Denecke's site.

30p: Dial switch to 1, dip switches to 00

59.94i: Dial switch to 7, dip switches to 00

720p stuff:
I've only done this a few times... I think it's the following, however, I could be wrong!
59.94p: Dial switch to 0, dip switches to 11 (
Remember, all of the stuff in 720 is "truly" 59.94p by format... even though "frame rates" say otherwise... typically, cameras "flag" frames to be dropped in post to look a particular frame rate!)

I had trouble with mine on the first run! I called Denecke, and then it's been a piece of cake since. Don't be afraid to reach out to them for help!
