I have a project where I'm trying to exactly align up the corners of four very large maps so that I can build a single map image out of them. Each one is about 40" x 30" in size. Since they weren't scanned exactly the same, I'm trying to transform skew the corners into the same position using one map as a reference. From there I can then be assured that they are all the same size and can proceed to build the single image out of them.
What I'm wondering is if there's a way when I'm zoomed into the corner of the maps if I can move the transform handles so I can use them while zoomed in. Right now when I zoom in the handles go outside the working area of the window and I cannot access them.
I tried doing the transforms numerically but unless I can grab one of the four corner handles, the numeric x/y value moves the entire layer. Is there a way to specify the numeric value controls a specific corner handle?
