No Transparancy Grid in NEw Image - CS2

Morning

When I create a new image in CS2,I do not get the transparancy grid. Only white. (The grid option is chosen in the transparancy/gamut setting in the prefs dialogue.)

BTW the new image I am creating is PAL widescreen 720x576 pixels.

Any thoughts..? Transparancy is key as I am using CS2 in conjunction with Prem Pro 2.0

Best

Rupert

Are you creating the new file with Background or Transparent contents?
