Newbie Question - Looking for tutorial Repainting complex background images
on Nov 25, 2015 at 3:06:55 am

Hellp PS Geniuses.

I'm looking for a tutorial. Something that will show me how to repaint background images after I remove the main subject from the scene. I'm looking to learn how to do the paralax effect and I'm having a rough time repianting the background on scenes that are more than just green gras or easy content aware fills.

Any help would be grateful.

Thanks,
Ash!

Content-aware fill is a good way to start. After that, the clone/patch/healing tools are your main arsenal.

This article seems very thorough:

If you'd rather watch a video tutorial, google for "Photoshop clone (patch/healing) tool".

I would try either Conter Aware filling or the content aware resizing... should do the trick :)
