Hi all

I am having issues with constraints in photoshop CS5. Its making me sad

Basically I made my frame at 8x12 and when i try resize it to a 6x8 it cuts off about 1/2 and inch off of my orriginal design. I have tried everything and it is driving the whole office mad!

Please help me!

thanx

Your aspect ratios are different. Basically, you have two rectangles of different shapes that you're trying to fit into the same shape, which you can't do without stretching or cropping. 8x12 is an aspect ration of 2:3 (two units across by three units high) and 6x8 is an aspect ratio of 3:4 (three units across by four units high). For your image to scale down properly into a 6x8 without changing the proportions, your original file would need to be 9x12 (aspect ratio 3:4), not 8x12 (aspect ratio 2:3).
