Brush stroke on type problem
on May 27, 2011 at 10:26:14 am

Hi!

I'm trying to give some text (outlines) a grungy look and feel. I added a bush to the strokes of the characters. Works on all characters, except for the S and y, see example below:

How can I fix this? Or is there an easier way to get this done in AI or PS?

Thanks a lot!!

Hi Richard,

thanks for your reply! Unfortunately the podcasts seem to be offline... I can't reach them through the cow site, neither trough iTunes itself. But Google always helps!

Thanks again, but I was more looking for a quick way to make text look more grungy/distressed like the font you use, but without creating a complete typeface :-)

Hello Stef,

The podcasts are online both through the website and iTunes. Can you provide more information on why you think they are offline?

Abraham

Weird... Both on creativecow.net and in iTunes itself I got an error message, saying the podcast was offline... But they both work fine now. Maybe it was something temporarily.
