I have a problem working with photoshop on models that I make in Google sketchup.
I create models then export them to obj using the free plugin I downloaded, The problem is the texture maps, when i paint directly on the model what I get on the texture map is stretched and distorted, when I paint on the texture map for example with a pattern stamp what I get on the model is uneven stretched texture with incorrect mapped parts , I use obj because the texture map gets most qualitative.
I understand that the problem is my sketchup models, models I made in other softwares like (3ds max) are ok to map but if I create models in sketchup import them to 3ds max and export to ps the mapping is like the sketchup model.
maybe some one knows how to reset the mapping of the model in ps or maybe other software to do that.
