What are settings for Media Encoder for the fastest export out of CS5 Premiere Pro?
I'm going to be filming my brother's wedding next week and they want a same day edit to show for dinner at night time. I could probably edit the video in about two hours, but the exporting is what's concerning me. We are not concern with video quality, as the proper video will be done later, so any viewable format is fine.
Does anyone have any suggestions on exporting settings to use or ideas?
The raw footage will be 1080p @30fps mts files and mp4 files.
Try exporting a H.264 Quicktime .mov with lowered quality settings.
In Adobe Media Encoder, after adding a source file, double click the preset and click on the "video" tab. Scroll down on the right side to "Bitrate Settings". Bitrate, among other things, controls quality. The lower these numbers, the faster it will render.
However, depending on how long the clip is, it still might take longer than you'd like. ESPECIALLY with HD footage that needs to be deinterlaced. If someone asked me to do a same-day edit and preview, I would politely inform them such a thing was unrealistic.
