Problems with CS3/CS5 and Win7-64... are there special settings?
on Jul 7, 2010 at 6:25:29 pm

I just built a new Win7 64 bit system for photo editing and installed both CS3 & CS5 on it but I'm having a host of problems.

When im running CS3 and I plug a USB hard drive in its totally stops the processes in PS. The hard drives I plug in take forever to be recognized (but that may be a drive problem, though they work in my older XP system). Bridge keeps say "Bridge has encountered a problem and needs to close"... at least 4 times yesterday. And when i got to batch sharpen a whole wedding, sometime in the midst of it, PS gives me the "(not responding)" message and i cant finish the job.

Are there any sort of special settings I need to set in Windows 7 to run PS?
