Color space for web images
on Mar 18, 2010 at 8:28:10 pm

I have an image that I am exporting from Photoshop with the Save For Web dialog (as a .gif). The colors look great in PS but when I look at it in any web browser, the colors are brighter and more yellow (viewing on the same monitor).

Here are my PS color settings:
PS working color space—sRGB
Document color space—sRGB
Check box in the save for web dialog "convert to sRGB" is checked (I've also tried it unchecked-no difference).

The other thing I noticed is the "Preview" drop-down in the save for web, I tried it on the different options: Monitor color-looks like it does in the browser; No adjustment-nooks like Photoshop.

If anybody can help I' appreciate it!
Thanks in advance.
