frozen frame

Hi, I have opened a video as frames in cs4 and formed a group 1, I then duplicated group 1 and formed group 2, I then manually interlaced group 1 into group 2 i.e. 1a 2a 1b 2b etc. The frame #'s do not run numerically consecutive they run 1-250-2-249-3-248 etc. when I try to play the video as frames or timeline it freezes on the second frame even though the process shows that is going through all the frames and each frame has the correct pic. I am hoping you can direct me out of this Please
All the best Gary

Use Bridge to arrange, then batch rename figures... you need to stick with number sequences like 001 - 9999
