Strange question: Lifting cleavage?
on Jun 22, 2006 at 4:42:56 am

Hey there,

I know this is a strange question, but any help would be welcome.

I was editing some photos of my girl and I showed them to her and she though they were great, but that her breasts looked saggy and jokingly asked if I could fix that. I laughed and said I'd give it a try. I kind of fiddled around with it, but I can't come up with anything that doesn't completely distort or ruin the photo. This isn't really my area of Photoshop... the extent of my picture editing is more along the lines of red eye/teeth whitening/removing blemishes. But now that I started to do it -- and failed -- I'm kind of curious as to how one would actually go about it. If anybody has any thoughts on how to do it I'd appreciate hearing them. Thanks!

Is that the same as the book "Photoshop CS2: The Art of Photographing Women" by Kevin Ames?

If you can as it were mix and match parts, you could always replace with body parts from another person, and just match it in...

I think she'd probably notice... although that would be funny :)

This isn't my area either but what about selecting the area with a polygonal marquee - copy to a new layer and then use Transform>warp and perspective to affect the areas of importance?

Hmm, yeah, that kind of works. Using a combination of the Warp Tool and Bloat Tool you can lift and slightly enhance without distorting it too much. Thanks for the advice!

Yeah, the Liquify Filter is where I used the Warp Tool. Thanks!
