I KNOW i am using an old versions of PS-6-with a G5 even, but that config has worked fine for my needs as i mostly do video editing on the machine. However, after uploaded big cr2 files, then converted to tif then copied and tried to paste into PS, i get the message like: "cannot open clipboard because of not enough memory" (ram). I added 2 gigs ram after i started getting this message.
I'm told 6.0 files are limited to 299mb, but my tif files from 16.2mgs are 47mb generally.
I want to build big files for large poster pictures but have a policy of not spending a dime on upgrades until i absolutely have to. Anybody have any suggestions? Many thanks...benjy
