Which educational Photoshop CS2 would you recommend?
on Jul 26, 2005 at 9:43:11 pm

I just purchased Photoshop CS2 this summer, and it's an upgrade from the ancient Photoshop 5 Limited Edition I had. So I understand the barebones aspects of Photoshop.

Anyway, I'm looking to purchase a book to help me learn CS2 more in depth. I'm debating between the Classroom in a Book and The Studio Techniques book that will be coming out soon.

I have the Studio Technique book for Primere Pro 1.5 and have thought it was outstanding.

Previously I would not have considered a classroom in a book series because they were printed with black and white pictures. (Which always seemed strange to me when trying to show digital photograph manipulation...)

Anyway, I'm looking for opinions or reviews for either book.

Thanks in advance.

Good point.

My business is video and DVD production. And I use Encore for DVD production.

I do my own amatuer photography, but at the moment don't get paid for it.

I was just really impressed with Jacob Rossenburg's Studio Technique's book, so I am contemplating getting the Studio Technique for Photoshop. But will also now look at other options as well.

Thanks for the info,

Martin
