Date and time of transcoded file with REDCINE-X
on Jan 28, 2014 at 5:34:26 am

Hi,
I try to transcode the raw file to Apple ProRes 422 PROXY with REDCINE-X, then I import it into FCP 7, but the clip doesn't show any time and date of the recording, is there any setting in REDCINE-X to output the proxy files with recording date and time included ?

Thank you

Yep,

- In the Export Tab in REDcine-X, set up a new export preset. When the dialogue box shows up to create this preset, go under the tab "burn in." Under this tab you can "burn in" timecode, clip name, and a number of different options. You'll need to still set up your export format of course - Apple ProRes 422 Proxy.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you need anything else.

Sincerely,
