Converting RED footage to 422 ProRes

You'll have to forgive me as its been a couple years since I've done this, proof as my software is from 2009.

Normally I have outside AEs convert my RED footage to 422 so I may use it in FCP7. Not the case this time around. I thought no problem, threw it onto my computer and into my REDreshes software. Then error kept coming up every time I tried to put it through. I can't tell if its cause the software is so old, and maybe they used a newer camera like the Scarlet, or maybe its been so long I'm just doing something wrong.

Basically, what I need is... if you know whats wrong thats helpful, but more important I guess, is there a new software I can download to convert the files?

Please help I have a deadline to keep. Thanks.

REDCINE is what is traditionally used where I work. It's easy and free. If you don't have RED Rocket though might take a while depending on how much you have.
