RedcineX - it's lyin to me!
on Jan 30, 2013 at 8:15:04 am

I'm trying to export some footage shot on the Scarlet to Pro Res 4222 HQs.
The program acknowledges the clips in my project, and even claims progress on the transcodes.
Unfortunately it races through, says "export successful" yet doesn't yield any QTs.

I've tried reinstalling the program and setting different destinations, but nothing's working.

Do I have some setting turned off or is this a common bug for this program?

What build of Redcine-x? 17, the newest that came out last week?

If you have, then try rolling back to version 16. If you haven't then try upgrading. https://www.red.com/downloads/4fad7fd417ef027cd8000eb1

I haven't seen this issue ever, so my initial suggestion is to do that. If you still have issues afterwards, reinstall quicktime.

Thanks Angelo, but I think that isn't it.
The problem started in 16. I unisntalled it and reinstalled with 17.
Same issue.
Hope someone comes out with a fix for it soon.
