REDCINE to Color
on Mar 9, 2011 at 11:51:39 pm

I heard that there is a way to do this without exporting a quicktime from redcine. Basically what I want to do is adjust the ISO in redcine and then pull it into color. Is there any way I can do this, or do I need to make a quicktime from redcine?

Why not just adjust the ISO in Color?

I've never used color before, and a friend mentioned that he did a similar process as I described above. I'll have to try it in color and see if the result is similar.

Make sure to download the latest FCS support from red.com/support. Once you get your timeline over to Color you will see a Red tab in the primary in room that allows adjusting of red metadata, including ISO.

Thank you! As it turns out my friend exported out of redcine and didn't explain clearly. But this sounds like a better workflow to me.

You need to be matched back to the R3ds in order to acces the red metadata in Color.
