Yeah it's a dang interesting story now with the 100K bounty now being offered by Jim. Maybe it'll end up being a movie shot by David Fincher- on a RED of course.

Yeah if I were a bit more conspiracy minded I'd suspect industrial espionage. But then again I don't think there's really a 'secret sauce' RED has that other camera makers would try to steal. They've had plenty of time to copy RED 4K RAW now and no one's really tried.

You are right; sorry for my lack of tact.
When I wrote the second post, I had not in mind the details (family sleeping etc)
I was mostly thinking about my self when, long-long ago, I used to go Alps: Sky & dancing.
