Downconverting video for Final Cut Pro
on Jun 15, 2010 at 10:36:31 pm

I want to help someone work with video shot on a RED camera in Final Cut Pro. The video will need to be sized for 720 x 480.

1. What program can I use to downcovert the video?
2. What file format should I convert the video to?

Thanks.

If possible, try to get the HQ PreRes option. And if doing any keying (unlikely if it'll be downconverted so much) then you should do ProRes 4444.
