Redcine-X Problem: Black Pixels after rendering
on Jan 29, 2010 at 8:46:01 am

Hey Folks,

I've got some footage made by the "RED ONE" Camera. After Color-Correcting the RAW-Footage in Redcine-X, i rendered the footage as Quicktime Foto-JPG. After that, there are some black pixels in the Footage (in very bright areas). I tried some other Codecs, with the same result.

How can i get rid of these black Pixels?

Please help!

Many many problems with REDCine-X
It's early beta!!!! Don't expect it to work properly for a while.

Something else you can recommend for converting the files?

- ReedAlert or RedRushes are your most stable solutions if you want to transcode on your PC or Mac.
- If you want Full Quality Debayer (the only one I recommend) in real-time REDRocket is the best and fastest solution to follow.

Clipfinder is a very stable workflow which uses REDLINE to render. It's will also use all of the available cores.
