Having real problems getting to R3D files for final Color correction.

Proxy clips were created using Red Alert as ProRes422HQ and are all stored in a directory called 'Proxies'

RED R3D files are all in seperate directories labelled Mag1 - Mag9.

I export an XML file from FCP and try to run it through clipfinder as per instructions and open in color but the RED tab isn't functional still.

Tried doing it another way by exporting an EDL from FCP and opening that in color, but same issue.

Is it a problem that RED footage wasn't brought into FCP using Log and Transfer. Is there a way to reconnect to R3d files at this point?

Make sure that you add all the R3D directories directly into the list for the sources in Clipfinder, not just one higher folder in the hierarchy. Plus, there shouldn't be any funny characters in their paths.
