RED to ProRes4444 12-bit!

Just read the ProRes4444 is 12-bit. That makes it fully digital cinema compliant for finishing. 4:4:4 and 12-bit. Sounds like a great finishing option.

ProRes4444 at 4K...? Under 200MB/sec?

We'll have to test this. ProRes won't have real-time performance at 4K in FCP, but you could still finish to it for final delivery. Interesting option.

Exactly. I just read about it in the ProRes White Paper.
