Logging and relinking.

I have a client who is shooting a 6 part series on RED. He is using his laptop to view and log rushes by loading the lowres proxies into FCP, annotating and commenting on them.

Can I relink his browser clips from the Red Proxies to our newly transcoded clips? The file names will be different (the proxies will all have a .f/m/p/h whereas the transcoded clips won't.

any ideas?

I've had luck exporting the sequence as an XML, using textedit to find and replace the file names and re-importing. Crude, but it works..
