Retaining my motion keyframes

Doing my first offline with red 1k proxies, and then re-conforming to the 2k files... This edit is going to contain a plethora of motion keyframes... so when I connect to the 2k files what nightmare awaits my motion keyframes? will they automatically re-proportioned if you get my drift?

thanks,

In my experience, keyframes keep the same values. So if you have a keyframe that is 50% scale, then it will take 50% of the 1k value. If you reconnect the clip to a 2k clip, it will still be 50%. If you then change the sequence settings to 2k from 1k, everything should look the same.

I would definitely suggest you test this this for you get too far into your edit.

Yeah personally I might hold off on this until you relink or at least set things up in a way you can easily change the values if you need them in the initial edit. The keyframes will of course hold but they will need to be adjusted for the larger frame sizes of the bigger proxies.
