Thank´s Uli but I have read the white paper and I can´t find a dpx workflow in there.
I´m not planning on grading i Color, the post house will do all grading. I only need a way to get my edited material out to dpx.
Yes it does, but it exports only one clip at a time and doesn't accept edls.
So edit offline files in FCP (created in one of a variety of ways). When your edit is done, export an edl and crimson will create a REDCine project using the edl, so you can export just the footage you're using. Then use REDCine to render to DPX.
Or find a post house that uses Scratch. Then you just export an edl and give the raw R3D files to the post house. Scratch can grade directly from the R3D files and it works great. I do it all day long.
