It doesn't change it. Film will still be film. Video will still be video.

Red isn't film or video. That's why you have to add a new category, digital cinema.

So far in the market that I live in here, we've had most people shooting video trying to shoot RED when they can. We've also seen people who only shot film start using RED too. It's really becoming the camera of choice for many reasons.

Yes, it's digital cinema. And raw digital cinema at that... The image doesn't look like video or film.
