Ok, Completely uninstall Boris CC 10, Then delete every single file
and folder everywhere on your system pertaining to Boris CC.

Now restart your system and re-install Boris, and see what happens...

Thanks Steve. I got it right after I posted, but still get the error message and the title studio and extruded text shows a cannot load message.

You are welcome Mike, Probably you are getting those error messages
because your graphics card is under-powered. Those particular Boris
filters requires more graphics power.

That's what I was afraid of. I've been using a Nvidia 460GTX without problems wit BCC8 and 9.

Really? Then you shouldn't really have that issue with BCC10.
ok try updating your Nvidia 460GTX driver to the latest version,
restart, and see if that helps.

I got the warning and text loading issue resolved with a OpenCL.dll overwrite, but it is crash happy on a few FX. Stage lights and Damaged TV and Glint won't happen. I also have two of everything except BCC Remover and BCC Reframer. They are working on it. I wish I could get an upgrade for the box , but with the price of everything as it is is inhibiting right now.

Hello Mike,

You mention that you had BCC OFX 9 earlier - I presume that you Uninstalled BCC OFX 9 before installing version 10? One thing I would recommend quickly would be to Close Vegas and delete the '13.0' folder from this location -
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Sony\Vegas Pro\

As for the Damaged TV and Glint, those are OpenGL effects. Do other OpenGL effects, such as Prism and Lens Flare 3D also crash? If so, try some other effects, non-OpenGL, such as Gaussian Blur or Rays Streaky, and see if these operate okay.

Thanks,

Jon

Jon, I deleted that folder once. I am going to redo the whole shebang. Uninstall BCC and start all over. It has been a frustrating experience here to say the least. I have a support ticket into Boris that you had answered the other day.

I keep BCC9 on Vegas, but i put BCC10 on premiere. Vegas is not capable yet of using a lot of its most interesting effects. It is to come in a later release....but i would not hold my breath because this is the same SONY who told us at NAB last year that Vegas was not going away and it would be used with Catalyst. What a surprise to find out a year later that that was not in the plans at all. (not surprised)

I have to say that i am getting great results from adobe cc....yes i have a few more mouse clicks, but the trade off is worth it, especially that sony is going subscription. Sorry to see Vegas die on the vine, and i miss the sonic foundry days when there was true support.
