How to edit game audio which has varying levels of loudness?

Hello CC! Another quick question.

I use Sony Vegas Pro Edit 13 with Izotope OZone 5, and I find myself resorting to this when dealing with videogame audio: http://imgur.com/JZp64TW

As you can see, I have to lower the action sequences and raise the dialogue so the volume is "balanced" out. Is there some more efficient way of dealing with this?

Use the Track Compressor. As you lower the Threshold it will raise the volume of the lower parts. Increase the compression to have a greater effects.

You can also process your audio though Levelator. It's built for smoothing out audio in podcasts but it works for lots of uneven audio problems.
