Deleting Clip Effect

Cutting together a video and I was toying with making a clip B&W on the timeline. Didn't like it so I deleted the effect. Now random clips in the timeline are B&W even though they have no effect applied to them? Any ideas on what happened and how I can return all the clips to original color?

AND are there any keyboard shortcuts to zoom in on the timeline instead of clicking the + - in the bottom right?

What happened is that you had several events selected when you were applying
B&W to that particular event (all selected got the same effect applied)....
always watch out for this!

Yea, open up the FX window for any Event that has a green FX icon and check to see if B&W has been applied. If so, remove it.

[jeremy Rowell] "AND are there any keyboard shortcuts to zoom in on the timeline instead of clicking the + - in the bottom right?"

"Zoom in/out horizontally in small increments (if timeline has focus)
Up/Down Arrow

Zoom in/out horizontally in large increments or zoom to selection (if one exists)
Ctrl+Up/Down Arrow
"

"To zoom in or out quickly," I like to "hover over the portion of the workspace I want to zoom and roll the mouse wheel forward or back."

And I thought you need to copy / paste event attributes, if you want to apply properties such as video event effects from one event to other events.
I selected events to end (in VPro 11 and 13) and applied a video FX to the first event. The FX was not in the other events.

Further to my previous post, as editing is not allowed atm.
If you drag and drop a video FX to the timeline, it seems to behave the way Steve said.

You guys were correct. Apparently I applied the effect to multiple clips in the BIN and not the Timeline. Clicking on the clip in the timeline did not show the effect, but if I selected them in the BIN the effect was there and could be deleted.

And thanks for the Zoom shortcuts!
