text in mask

In one shot I have made two Bezier masks to let text flow behind an object on the screen. For the first frames this works like I intended. But for some reason unknown to me, after a few frames the tekst appears also where the mask is not. The mask does not turn from negative to positive, nor does opacity change. What makes the text visible beoynd the mask after the frames where it does not?

A screen shot or two would be helpful.

Here are some screen shots. In the first everything seems fine.

The second is a closer look.

Here is the closer look at when everything seems fine.

The third is one frame further.

Look at the N now moving in front of the lamp post, where the A moved behind it.

In the bottom preview screen you can see the Bezier masks applied. The lamp post is clearly cut free. So how can the N move in front of it, when without changing a thing the previous letters moved behind it, according to the mask?

Somehow, you have a problem with the way your tracks are laid out. Suggest you post a fairly close-up screen shot of your track layout where the individual tracks (including text) are clearly identified. Your first screen shot doesn't give sufficient detail.

I hope this screen shot gives sufficient detail. You can zoom in for a closer view.

Track 1: original animation with bezier mask on bus destination
Track 2: text to fill this mask on the bus, on black background
Track 3: original animation footage with bezier mask on street name
Track 4: text to fill this mask on transparent background

When all text from track 4 were to appear on top of previous tracks, this would be another problem. But the letters preceding the N visible here left of the lamp post, are blocked by the lamp post as they move from right to left. All key points in the mask are set to negative. It is just the N of the word VAN that is projected in front of the lamp post.
