Project Won't Open

My project is freezing when building peaks or importing nested timelines. I moved the nested timelines so the timeline opened but when I tried to replace with nests in a different location it froze. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

As always thanks so much to you guys...Johnny In Orlando

Your nested files are what is causing Vegas to keep freezing, when its on
the timeline in a project.
I no longer work with Nested Vegas files anymore because of this happening
sometimes. So what you do John is simply render out your individual nested
files that are included in a project and let them retain the original names, then load your project with those new rendered files instead.... You will
have no more issues.

Agree with Steve. I gave up on nested projects a long time ago as well. For one thing, they always dramatically increased the render time for me. Aside from rendering out an intermediate for each project as Steve suggested there are a couple of other options. If you have Vegasaur, you can stitch together individual projects for a final render using their Transcoder. Another option (the one I use most often) is to simply create a final project from your individual sub-projects by copying and pasting each sub-project into the final project. This does require a common track layout for your individual projects.

Yes, Yes, that is another very good option Wayne!
