My masking tool disappeared! (Sony Vegas pro 12/13)

I have a big problem. I had Sony Vegas Pro 10 and it was very baggy. There was such nice tool in Pan/Crop called "Mask" (or Masking tool). So I decided to download SVP 12 (or Movie Studio Platinum 12, whatever) and there was nothing like this little bar of Masking. I clicked "Default" to all options, but still there is nothing. I even downloaded SVP 13, but there was the same problem.

How do I get this Mask tool in Pan/Crop?

(also what version of SVP is better 12 or 13)

Unfortunately Masking isn't an option in any version of Movie Studio.
I'm using Pro 12 and am happy with it. Having said that I know several pro 13 users who like that version. The choice is yours.

Yea that's one of the big differences between Sony Vegas Pro and Sony Movie Studio... there is no mask tool in Movie Studio.

I'm using Vegas Pro 13.0 and it seems OK. Vegas Pro 12.0 was very stable for me as well and I think it was a bit faster at rendering than 13.0 is.

Wow, I didn't know about that. I thought Sony Vegas Pro 12 and Movie Studio 12 don't have any difference. Well, I gonna go with Sony Vegas Pro 12 then. I really needed that tool. Such a nice thing in the work.
Thank you so much!

[Tigron Kosh] "I thought Sony Vegas Pro 12 and Movie Studio 12 don't have any difference. "
The other major difference are the compositing modes. Vegas Pro has about a dozen and Movie Studio only has one or two. There are other differences as well. You will like Vegas Pro better I'm sure.
