Type jagged on render using Video4YouTube Ext.

When I render using the Video4Youtube (ver 1.4) extension, any text created using the NewBlue Titler Pro 2.0 (OpenFX) must be rendered with the SVP video preview settings set to Best Full to have it look good. I normally do my editing with the settings set at Preview Full, but if I try to render with that setting the text comes out all jagged. I didn't think that the preview settings had anything to do with the render quality, but in this case it certainly is affecting the quality of the text. Any thoughts on this? I'm using SVP 12.

Thanks

Two suggestions. First make sure that in your project properties, Full-resolution rendering quality is set to Best. Second, don't use the Video4YouTube script. There are much better ways of rendering for YT or Vimeo. Suggest you have a look at this.

I would also recommend using the 1-click Vegas to Handbrake script.

It takes awhile to set up, but really works well. Handbrake does a much better job of encoding for low bit rate renders that are suggested for use in YT or Vimeo.

As Wayne mentioned, dont use the video4youtube extension if this
is happening. Although you can set the render settings to Best from
within it am not sure if that would solve your issue.
Try the Handbrake script, its worth the lengthy installations, lol

Thanks for the information, it's very much appreciated. Lengthy installations is an understatement! LOL

Lengthy installations is an understatement!

What's the old saying? Good things don't come easy? Lol. But once set up, it really is "one-click" and you're into Handbrake without having to render to an intermediate.

lOl, thinking about it now, lengthy is indeed an understatement Dave, lol.
But once done, its smooth sailing after that. Definitely worth it...
