Hi all,
I'm putting together a slideshow with over 100 photos. I've got Event tools & stillmotion.
I know I can put all the pix on the timeline with the same length but am I right in
thinking that I'm limited to only a few transitions that will automatically be placed
across all the pix in one go. Is there a better way of using 20 or more transitions
randomly other than manually attaching each one between photos?
Any info please, Pete.

StillMotion is a "lite" version of the Photo Montage tool in Ultimate S Pro/Lite. As such, it is limited to the transitions that you can apply. The full Photo Montage tool has no such limitation.

Honestly, I would not fill a slideshow with a 20 different transitions that screen "look at me". You want your audience concentrating on the pictures not your editing. The transitions should be subtle and few which is why we only include a few presets with transitions that are matched to provide the best visual experience.

If you really want to use 20 or more different transitions, get VASST Ultimate S Lite. It has the full Photo Montage tool included.

On this point I agree with John. Consider that editing is a violent act. To suddenly appear at a different location or pov without physically moving the body is unnatural. It is disturbing and will jar the viewer out of the fantasy. If the intent is to draw attention to the editor, to pull viewers out of the experience then by all means go ahead and use all the transitions available on the edit system. The best edits are the ones that the viewer does not notice.

Actually, something like this for less money:

The full function of Ultimate S Pro Photo Montage is in Ultimate S Lite.
